#006: wimbledon village, SW19.

Imogen Ashby, freelance designer and founder of M'Ogen Creative, shares her top tips about Wimbledon Village SW19 for postcode pours.

Full of cafés, up-market charity shops and gastropubs aplenty, Wimbledon Village is the perfect place to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Where to grab coffee:

"As a non coffee drinker, (I know, I'm in the minority!) I'm not the best to ask for a coffee recommendation, but Demitasse in the middle of the high street is the perfect place to warm up with a hot drink or green smoothie after a blustery walk in Cannizaro Park. You also can't go wrong with a hot chocolate from Paul, and don't forget to treat yourself to the chocolate doughnuts while you're there too for the ultimate sweet tooth satisfaction!"

Imogen’s favourite place in town:

"My boyfriend and I absolutely love a trip to The Ivy for a special occasion brunch or lovely dinner, you just can't beat the service, the crisp Sauvignon Blanc and the truffle arancini! As a charity shop lover, I'd recommend visiting the charity shops on the high street. With the fabulous women of Wimbledon donating their clothes to local charity shops, you'll definitely nab yourself a bargain!"

Wimbledon Village’s best hidden gem:

"Bayley and Sage at the top end of the high street is an absolute must. In another life, I'd do my weekly food shop in there! Their 'ready meals are second to none, and the fresh pasta and decadent range of sauces are perfect for a date night in!"
